Operating Instructions Of The Filters
( S-1002 / S-2002 / S-4002 / S-2604 / S-4006 )

Variable "HPF" High-Pass Filter ( 15Hz - 4kHz )
"ON" activates the High-Pass filter circuitry, thus allowing frequencies above
15-4000Hz to be amplfied. You can use this filter as:
  • Subwoofer's Subsonic filter ( 15Hz )
  • Coaxial speakers High-Pass filter ( 40-80Hz )
  • Component system's High-Pass filter ( 40-80Hz )
  • Full-Active 4-way system's midbass High-Pass filter ( 40-60Hz )
  • Full-Active 4-way system's midrange High-Pass filter ( 100-300Hz )
  • Full-Active 3-way system's midrange High-Pass Filter ( 40-80Hz )
  • Full-Active system's tweeter High-Pass Filter ( 2-4kHz )
Note!
We recommend to use High-Pass filter always when the amplifier's channel is not driving subwoofer
because full-range speakers can break down if subwoofer frequencys are played with them.

Variable "LPF" Low-Pass Filter ( 40Hz - 4kHz )
"ON" activates the Low-Pass filter circuitry, thus allowing frequencies below
40-4000Hz to be amplfied. You can use this filter as:
  • Subwoofer's Low-pass filter ( 40-80Hz )
  • Full-Active 4-way system's midbass Low-Pass filter ( 100-300Hz )
  • Full-Active system's midrange Low-Pass filter ( 2-4kHz )
For normal full-range frequency speaker configuration - as component system
with passive crossover or coaxial speakers - set to "OFF".

Bandpass filter
S-series amplifier's LPF and HPF filters can be used at the same time so them
can be used as bandpass filters. Bandpass filters can be used for:
  • Subwoofer ( HPF 15Hz / LPF 40-80Hz )
  • Full-Active 4-way system's midbasses ( HPF 40-60Hz / LPF 100-300Hz )
  • Full-Active 4-way system's midranges ( HPF 100-300Hz / LPF 2-4kHz )
  • Full-Active 3- way system's midranges ( HPF 40-80Hz / LPF 2-4kHz )

Full-Active System
In Full-Active system there is as many amplifier channels as there is speakers. So every speaker
is played "active" with its own amplifier channel. Full-Active system's all cuts are made with
headunit's or amplifier's filters or with using them both.

Full-Active 3-way System
In Full-Active 3-way system there is subwoofer(s), midranges and tweeters.
5 amplifier channels is needed to drive Full-active 3-way system.

Full-Active 4-way System
In Full-Active 4-way system there is subwoofer(s), midbasses, midranges and tweeters.
7 amplifier channels is needed to drive Full-active 3-way system.
